CLARK COUNTY, Wash. (KPTV) – Tragedy struck late Sunday night in Clark County when a head-on collision claimed the life of one individual and left another with serious injuries.
The incident occurred just past 11:30 p.m. on State Route 503, near milepost 12. According to the Washington State Patrol, a 1998 Chevrolet Lumina travelling southbound veered across the centre line, resulting in a direct impact with a 2016 GMC Acadia.
The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 20-year-old D’Antai L. Nelson from Battle Ground, tragically lost their life at the scene of the crash.

The driver of the GMC was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention. The full extent of their injuries remains undisclosed at this time.
