Chatfield, MN (KROC-AM News)- A collision at the intersection of Hwy. 52 and Hwy. 30 in southeast Minnesota over the weekend resulted in one person being hospitalized. The incident, involving two vehicles, occurred around 5:30 Sunday afternoon, prompting a response from the State Patrol.

The crash, as reported by the state crash report, involved a southbound Jeep and an SUV attempting to turn onto northbound Hwy. 52. The vehicles collided at the intersection, causing injuries to one of the drivers.

58-year-old Brenda Kay Tribble of Davidsburg, MI, the driver of the SUV, was taken to a hospital in Chatfield for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The other vehicle involved was driven by 82-year-old Myron David Maker of Rochester, who was accompanied by 78-year-old Sandra Kay Maker. Fortunately, neither of them sustained any injuries.

All three individuals involved in the crash were wearing seat belts, and alcohol was not a factor in the incident, according to the state report. The Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office, Chatfield Police Department, Chatfield Fire Department, and Chatfield Ambulance all responded to the scene of the collision.
