DALLAS — Annette Addo-Yobo, a North Texas native with Ghanaian roots, was recently crowned Miss Texas 2024 in a prestigious competition held in Southlake. The talented beauty queen, who previously held the title of Miss Dallas, wowed the judges with her grace, intelligence, and dedication to community service.

Originally born in Ghana, Addo-Yobo moved to the United States and Canada at a young age. She has since become a proud U.S. citizen with a deep connection to her North Texas upbringing. In 2020, she graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, showcasing her dedication to academic excellence.
