PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – A 26-year-old man from Cornelius, Oregon, is facing DUII charges after being involved in a single-car crash that resulted in downed powerlines near Forest Grove on Saturday night, as reported by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Northwest David Hill Road, which had to be closed in both directions to deal with the aftermath of the crash. It took deputies approximately five hours to reopen the road to traffic.

Details of the Incident
According to officials, the passenger in the vehicle sustained a knee injury as a result of the crash and had to be taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The driver, identified as Pedro Gaspar-Lucas, has been charged with DUII (Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants) and fourth-degree assault in connection with the incident.
