An inquiry is currently underway following the tragic death of a 20-year-old man who was fatally shot in Santa Ana.
Authorities in Santa Ana were alerted to the incident just before 12:30 a.m. in the vicinity of Bristol Street and Memory Lane.
Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement officers discovered the victim, who has since been identified as Fernando Manuel Lopez of Santa Ana. Despite attempts to save his life, Lopez was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information they may have regarding the incident.
