Arlington Police : Arlington Drive-By Shooting Injures 19-Year-Old and Girl

ARLINGTON, Texas – Arlington police are currently investigating a distressing incident that occurred in the early hours of the morning. The incident in question involved a drive-by shooting that resulted in multiple individuals sustaining injuries inside a residential property.

The authorities received a distress call and promptly responded to a residence located on the 1000 block of Tennessee Trail at approximately 2:50 am on Sunday morning. Upon arrival, law enforcement officers discovered several bullet casings scattered outside the premises, as well as numerous bullet holes present on the front window and wall of the property.

A young man, aged 19, was found within one of the bedrooms with multiple gunshot wounds, highlighting the severity of the situation. Additionally, a 5-year-old girl was also found to have sustained a gunshot wound to her hand, while a 20-year-old male occupant may have narrowly escaped being hit by a bullet, according to the official police report.

Both the 19-year-old male and the 5-year-old female were promptly transported to a nearby medical facility for urgent treatment. Fortunately, medical professionals have indicated that both individuals are expected to make a full recovery in due course, providing a glimmer of hope amidst the chaos.

The bewildered occupants of the residence expressed their confusion and shock at being targeted in such a violent manner, stating that they were unaware of any reasons that would justify such a heinous act being perpetrated against them.
