Ronald Powell’s football journey began at Rancho Verde High School in California, where he showcased his natural aptitude for the sport. Demonstrating his versatility as a defensive end, linebacker, and tight end, Powell’s senior year was marked by remarkable performances, including 13 sacks and 28 tackles for losses. These outstanding achievements propelled him to a five-star recruit status, making him the top-ranked player in his class.

From College to NFL
Despite facing various setbacks, Powell remained determined to pursue his football dreams. He committed to playing for the Florida Gators in college, but his progress was hindered by injuries, including two torn ACLs. Nevertheless, he persevered and managed to accumulate 11 sacks, two pass deflections, and a forced fumble over three seasons.
In 2014, Powell’s hard work paid off when he was drafted by the New Orleans Saints. After his tenure with the Saints, he went on to play 14 games in the NFL and also spent a season with the Orlando Apollos in the Alliance of American Football in 2018.
