In a tragic incident that has left the reptile community mourning, Brian Barczyk, a well-known American reptile enthusiast, YouTuber, and founder of the Reptarium Reptile Zoo and Legasea Aquarium, has passed away at the age of 54. The news of his death has sent shockwaves through the industry, as he was widely recognized for his contributions to the world of reptiles.
Born on September 6, 1969, in Detroit, Michigan, Brian Barczyk had a deep passion for animals from a very young age. His love for reptiles, in particular, blossomed during a visit to the zoo when he was just two years old. From that moment on, he dedicated himself to nurturing his fascination with these fascinating creatures.

His channel, SnakeBytesTV, quickly gained popularity, and he soon became a prominent figure in the reptile community. He collaborated with fellow YouTubers such as Jake Paul, Logan Paul, Marshmello, Liza Koshy, MrBeast, and Coyote Peterson, further solidifying his influence and reach.

Tragically, Brian Barczyk’s life was cut short by pancreatic cancer. Diagnosed with Stage 2 pancreatic cancer in February 2023, he openly shared his health journey with his fans. Despite putting up a brave fight, the disease rapidly progressed to Stage 4, ultimately leading to his untimely passing. He also assured his fans that his family would continue his projects and carry on his legacy.
