Claremont, January 10, 2024 – In response to the severe storms that struck Claremont earlier today, the Red Cross of North Carolina has announced the opening of an emergency shelter at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. This shelter will provide temporary housing for residents who have lost their homes due to the devastating effects of the storms.
