I’m deeply saddened by the loss of my dear friend @atheopagan, who passed away after nearly a decade of friendship. I will profoundly miss our bimonthly video chats, discussing our projects, and sharing our frustrations about how Baldur’s Gate 3 altered the landscape of CRPGs. They fought valiantly to create a fulfilling life and embodied kindness and honor in every interaction. Their spirit will always remain in my heart. Rest in peace, dear friend. My friend of nearly ten years @atheopagan passed away.

It’s hard to put into words the shock and sadness that comes with losing a friend. The news of @atheopagan’s passing hit me like a ton of bricks. We shared nearly a decade of our lives, filled with laughter, deep conversations, and countless memories. From our bimonthly catchups in virtual chats to our endless discussions about our projects, every moment was a treasure. Losing someone who was such a constant presence in my life feels surreal.

I will miss bimonthly catchups in vc and yapping about our projects

Those catchups meant the world to me. We would dive into our creative endeavors, sharing ideas and encouraging each other to keep pushing forward. @atheopagan had a unique way of looking at life and projects that inspired me. Whether it was brainstorming the next big thing or simply chatting about our daily lives, these moments were invaluable. The passion we shared for our projects was contagious, and I always looked forward to those conversations. Now, the silence feels deafening.
