Mesa Plane crash Investigation Underway

MESA, Ariz. – Authorities in Arizona are currently investigating a devastating plane crash that reportedly killed multiple people near a Mesa-area airport on Tuesday afternoon. According to the National Transportation Safety Board, a Honda HA-420 jet attempted to abort its takeoff but tragically crashed through an airport perimeter fence before colliding with a vehicle.

The incident unfolded around 4:45 p.m. near the intersection of Greenfield and McKellips roads, just southwest of Falcon Field Airport. Eyewitnesses reported seeing heavy smoke rising from the crash site, and aerial footage captured the aftermath, revealing the scale of the destruction.

Five individuals were on board the aircraft, and sadly, four of them were confirmed dead at the scene. The victims have been identified as Spencer Lindahl, 43; Rustin Randall, 48; Drew Kimball, 44; and Graham Kimball, just 12 years old. In a small glimmer of hope, one person from the plane survived and was rushed to the hospital with burn injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle involved in the crash also lost their life, but their identity has not yet been disclosed as authorities work on notifying next-of-kin.
