Allegedly, the club shared the sad news early Thursday morning, revealing that the fan passed away while being transported to the hospital.

The atmosphere at the Allianz Arena was markedly subdued as fans chose to refrain from singing or chanting out of respect for the individual. The match was delayed when it became apparent that a medical emergency was unfolding, requiring immediate attention from paramedics and police. Bayern’s supporters’ group, Club Nr. 12, expressed their solidarity, stating they would “not be supporting as usual today because of an emergency medical intervention.” They poignantly added, “Life comes before sport. We wish the family and friends lots of strength.”

Even after the fan was carried out on a stretcher roughly 30 minutes later, the chanting didn’t resume, highlighting the somber mood that enveloped the stadium.
