Plane crash in Mesa, AZ Allegedly Claims Five Lives
MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — Authorities have confirmed the identities of four individuals who tragically lost their lives in a plane crash at a Mesa airport that struck a car late Tuesday afternoon. The crash occurred around 4:45 p.m. near Greenfield and McKellips roads, just southwest of Falcon Field Airport.
Witnesses report that a Honda HA-420 jet crashed on the runway, sliding through the fencing before colliding with a vehicle outside the airport property. Out of the five people aboard the plane, four died at the scene. The victims have been identified as:

Surprisingly, one person on the plane survived and is currently receiving treatment for burn injuries. The driver of the vehicle involved in the crash also succumbed to their injuries, but their identity remains undisclosed as officials continue next-of-kin notifications.
As investigations unfold, Greenfield Road is still closed in both directions from McKellips to McDowell. Mesa police are advising drivers to exercise caution in the area while they assess the situation.
