Alleged Fatal Motorcycle crash in Amarillo: Investigation Underway
On November 4, 2024, Amarillo police Department reported a tragic motorcycle crash near the intersection of I-40 and Bell. Although details are still emerging, the incident allegedly involved a black 2009 Kawasaki sport motorcycle and a 2003 Dodge Ram pickup truck.
According to eyewitness reports, the motorcycle was traveling southbound on Bell Street when it crossed the south frontage road of I-40. At the same time, the Dodge pickup was heading east on the I-40 south frontage road. Allegedly, the pickup collided with the motorcycle, resulting in severe injuries to the rider.

The victim, identified as 19-year-old Landon McGinnis, tragically succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
