Allegations Surround Fatal Motorcycle crash in Amarillo
On Monday, a tragic incident occurred in Amarillo, Texas, where one person allegedly lost their life in a crash at the busy intersection of I-40 and Bell Street. According to the Amarillo police Department, they received reports of a major accident involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck around 5:54 p.m. Witnesses claim that a black 2009 Kawasaki sport motorcycle was traveling southbound on Bell Street when a white 2003 Dodge Ram pickup, heading east on the I-40 south frontage road, reportedly collided with it.

Sadly, the motorcycle’s rider, identified as 19-year-old Landon McGinnis, died at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash. Police confirmed that they notified McGinnis’s next of kin, while the driver of the truck, a 37-year-old man, miraculously did not suffer any injuries. Potter County Judge Robert Taylor was said to have responded to the scene, ordering an autopsy as part of the ongoing investigation.
