In a heartbreaking turn for the Corinth community, 17-year-old Callie Pounders, a celebrated softball player at Corinth High School, was allegedly killed in a car accident on Monday. This devastating news was shared by Corinth High School Principal John Barnett via social media, as he expressed the school’s collective sorrow over the loss.

Principal Barnett stated, “It is with great sadness that I inform you that one of our students, Callie Pounders, was killed this morning in a car accident.
