It’s being reported that Robert Alejandro, the beloved graphic artist and co-founder of the popular Filipino stationery and craft store Papemelroti, has passed away on November 5. This news was shared by his family-run company through a heartfelt post on Facebook. Alejandro was more than just the face of Papemelroti; he was a creative powerhouse whose visionary spirit helped shape the brand into what it is today. His contributions extended beyond his work in the store; he was a staunch advocate for children’s art and was instrumental in establishing organizations like the Communication Design Association of the Philippines and Ang Ilustrator ng Kabataan, which focuses on promoting art for the youth.
