Alleged Tragedy in Haddam: 5-Year-Old Boy Dies After Falling into Connecticut River
HADDAM, Conn. – A heartbreaking story has emerged from Haddam, where a young boy has sadly died following an accident in the Connecticut River. According to reports from WFSB/Gray News, the boy, identified as Jaxon Podbielski from Higganum, fell into the river on October 26.
After being rescued, Jaxon was rushed to Connecticut Children’s Hospital in critical condition. Unfortunately, after spending five days fighting for his life, he was pronounced dead. The official cause of death remains undetermined, as authorities continue to investigate this tragic incident.
