Father Questions Autopsy Results in Son’s death: Allegations of Murder

A father from Saskatchewan is seeking answers after receiving disappointing results from an autopsy conducted on his son, Serene Kematch. Marvin Meesto expressed his dissatisfaction with the findings, hoping the autopsy would reveal that his son was murdered and provide clarity on how he died. “I’m not satisfied with the autopsy report,” Meesto told CTV News.

On a recent Monday, RCMP reported the discovery of human remains in a pasture just 10 kilometers north of Alcurve, Alberta. The remains were identified as Kematch, a 28-year-old who had been missing since April. The last confirmed sighting of him was through gas station surveillance footage after he separated from friends when their vehicle ran out of gas.

Meesto recalled that Kematch had called him from the gas station, asking for a ride, but he was unable to leave work. Following the recovery of his son’s remains, RCMP ruled the death as “not suspicious in nature,” a conclusion that deeply troubles Meesto. He firmly believes his son was a victim of foul play, stating, “Serayne was healthy — young, healthy, and I can’t see why he ended up in that bush where his remains were found.” This sentiment highlights the emotional turmoil that Meesto is experiencing as he grapples with his son’s untimely death.

Adding to the mystery, the autopsy revealed that one of Kematch’s ribs was broken, yet the cause remains undetermined. “The tenth rib down is broken, and they can’t determine why it was broken,” Meesto shared. He hopes further testing on his son’s clothing could provide the answers he desperately seeks. As the investigation unfolds, Meesto’s quest for justice continues, fueled by a father’s love and the need for truth.
