Allegations Surrounding the death of Toddler Xavia Skye Lynn Butler
Human remains discovered in a barn on a rural property in the Interlake have been identified as Xavia Skye Lynn Butler, a toddler who was never reported missing and is believed to have been slain. The Royal Canadian Mounted police (RCMP) identified the child, stating she would have been around one to two years old at the time of her tragic death. Authorities are treating this case as a homicide.
Xavia’s remains were found near Highway 6 in the Rural Municipality of Grahamdale on June 3. According to the RCMP, the last confirmed sighting of Xavia alive was about a year before her remains were discovered. This alarming gap has prompted police to seek the public’s assistance in establishing a timeline of her life during that period. They are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have seen the girl after March 2022.

In the initial stages of this investigation, partial remains were found, believed to have been moved by animals before being discovered by the property owners.
