Yesterday, my brother Sen. Datti Baba-Ahmed and I were devastated to hear the heartbreaking news of the passing of Faisal Makarfi, the son of our dear friend and former Governor of Kaduna State, Ahmed Makarfi. We immediately made our way to Kaduna to personally offer our condolences and support to the grieving family.
As we sat with Ahmed Makarfi and his family, our hearts were heavy with sorrow. Faisal was a bright and promising young man, taken from this world too soon. We prayed together, asking God to give them strength and comfort during this difficult time.
