I am absolutely devastated to hear about the passing of Mr Abdirahman Mohamoud. He was a dedicated member of the #UN Local Governance Project in Somalia, working tirelessly to improve local governance in the region. I had the pleasure of working with him on numerous projects, including the Somali Mayors Forum in Rwanda back in February 2022, which was funded by UNDP and UNHABITAT.

Mr Abdirahman Mohamoud was a true professional, always willing to go above and beyond to ensure the success of our initiatives. His passion for his work was evident in everything he did, and his presence will be sorely missed in the field of local governance.
