A second woman has been arrested in Byram, Mississippi after over $1,900 worth of items were stolen from Walmart. Shaneqia Shuntel Harvey and her niece Deneshia “Lil Bit” Harvey were identified as the culprits by the Walmart Asset Protection Team on July 1. Shaneqia was apprehended at a local fireworks stand and the stolen goods were recovered, while Deneshia remained at large. The Byram Police Department expressed gratitude to the McComb Police Department for their assistance in arresting Deneshia. Shoplifting Incident at Byram Walmart Leads to Arrest of Two Women
In a recent incident at the Walmart in Byram, Mississippi, the Walmart Asset Protection Team alerted officers to a shoplifting incident involving two women. The theft amounted to over $1,900 worth of items being stolen from the store.
The two women involved were identified as Shaneqia Shuntel Harvey and her niece Deneshia “Lil Bit” Harvey. Shaneqia was apprehended shortly after the incident at a local fireworks stand, where the stolen merchandise was recovered. However, Deneshia remained at large for several days.
Collaborative Efforts Lead to Arrest
The Byram Police Department worked in collaboration with the McComb Police Department to track down Deneshia Harvey. She was eventually arrested in McComb on multiple warrants issued by the Byram Police Department.
Following her arrest, Deneshia will be extradited to Byram to face charges related to the shoplifting incident. The authorities expressed their gratitude to the McComb PD for their assistance in apprehending the suspect.
