It was Clarke who discovered his daughter, Taliyan Clarke, suffering from a gunshot wound and immediately rushed her to Holtz Children’s Hospital in critical condition.

Despite undergoing emergency surgery, the young girl tragically succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at 1:09 p.m. The three adults responsible for supervising the victim provided conflicting statements about the shooting, according to the arrest report.

Arrests and Charges

Titato Clarke, Charlene Webster (the victim’s paternal grandmother), and Nancy Severe (Clarke’s romantic partner who shared three children with him) were all residents of the apartment at the time of the incident. All three adults were arrested and charged with aggravated manslaughter of a child under 18.
