A man was arrested after shots were fired during an altercation at a Macomb County trailer park on Monday night, as reported by CBS Detroit. The incident occurred at the Carriage Way Trailer Park on Gratiot Avenue, south of 24 Mile Road. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. The suspect, an adult man, was taken into custody without any further issues, and the firearm used was recovered. The altercation was said to have stemmed from a disagreement between neighbors. Man Arrested After Shots Fired at Macomb County Trailer Park
(CBS DETROIT) – A man was taken into custody following a disturbance that led to gunshots being fired at a trailer park in Macomb County on Monday night. The incident occurred at the Carriage Way Trailer Park located at Gratiot Avenue, just south of 24 Mile Road.
Police Response
At approximately 9:23 p.m., officers from Chesterfield Township were dispatched to the trailer park after receiving reports of a violent altercation involving multiple individuals. Upon arrival, law enforcement officials confirmed that no injuries had been sustained as a result of the gunshots.
Suspect Apprehended
The suspect responsible for discharging the firearm was apprehended without resistance by the police. Authorities also successfully recovered the weapon used in the incident. It was later revealed that the altercation had originated from a dispute between neighbouring residents.
Legal Action
The individual identified as the perpetrator, an adult male, was taken into custody and is currently being held at the Macomb County Jail. Pending charges are expected to be filed as the investigation progresses.
