Four people were fatally shot and seven others injured at a birthday party in Florence. The victims include 19-year-old Delaney Early, 20-year-old Shane Miller, 20-year-old Hayden Rybicki, and 44-year-old Melissa Parrett. The suspect, 20-year-old Chase Garvey, fled the scene but was later found and committed suicide. Seven people were shot and four victims killed early Saturday morning at a birthday party in Florence, a quiet suburb nestled in the rolling hills of northern Kentucky.

The four fatal shooting victims have been identified as 19-year-old Delaney Early, of Burlington, 20-year-old Shane Miller, of Florence, 20-year-old Hayden Rybicki, of Elsmere, and 44-year-old Melissa Parrett, of Florence, according to the Florence Police Department.
The shooting suspect, 20-year-old Chase Garvey, of Florence, had fled the scene when officers arrived but he was quickly located and fled police in a vehicle. He crashed into a ditch on Dale Heimbrock Way near Hicks Pike and committed suicide.
The shootings took place on Ridgecrest Drive at approximately 2:50 Saturday morning when police responded to a report of “an active shooter inside the residence.”
The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to piece together the events leading up to this tragic incident.
