According to reports from UNB, the pair had boarded a bus from Majhuchowdhuryhat en route to Chattogram early in the morning. As the bus made a stop at a refueling station around 9 am, Nasir Uddin and Mim Akter disembarked from the vehicle. Tragically, as they were crossing the Dhaka-Lakshmipur regional road, another bus collided with them, resulting in the death of the young girl and leaving her grandfather critically injured.

Medical Response

Nasir Uddin was immediately rushed to Sadar Hospital for emergency treatment. Despite efforts by the medical team, he succumbed to his injuries. The hospital’s Resident Medical Officer, Dr. Aurup Pal, confirmed the unfortunate news and stated that the bodies of the deceased were transferred to the hospital morgue for further procedures.
