BHOPAL: A tragic incident occurred on Friday night in Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh, where a woman, along with her two daughters and a relative, lost their lives in a horrific road accident. The incident took place on National Highway number 43 between Rungta and Pakaria villages when a truck collided with their autorickshaw.
Sanjay Jaiswal, the in-charge of Budhar police station, shared details of the accident stating that the autorickshaw overturned while trying to avoid cattle on the road. This led to a tragic collision with a truck, resulting in the death of the woman identified as Roshni and her two daughters. The fourth deceased individual was a relative of Roshni. Two other occupants of the autorickshaw sustained injuries and have been admitted to Shahdol medical college hospital for treatment.
SP Kumar Prateek informed PTI that the driver of the truck fled the scene following the accident. In response to this, the Shahdol zone additional director general has announced a reward of Rs 30,000 for any information that leads to the arrest of the driver responsible for this tragic incident.
