Very sad news to hear that Jack Rowell has passed away, one of the great rugby thinkers and innovators who was always great company. Rowell, who was known for his strategic approach to the game, led many teams to victory during his career.
One memorable moment was when he took a fledgling @SaintsRugby team to play @BathRugby in 1988 at the rec. The match started off well for Rowell’s team, as they managed to take an early lead of 3-0. However, they were unable to maintain their momentum and eventually succumbed to a crushing defeat with a final score of 52-3.
Rowell’s legacy will live on in the world of rugby, as his innovative tactics and leadership style have left a lasting impact on the sport. Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Jack Rowell.
