The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) took over the case and swiftly located a suspect, who was subsequently taken into police custody. The suspect is currently held on an unrelated charge as IHIT continues to piece together the events leading to Dunn’s untimely death.

IHIT is collaborating with Surrey RCMP, the B.C. Coroners Service, and the Integrated Forensic Identification Service as they delve deeper into the circumstances surrounding Dunn’s homicide.
