Details of the Incident
The incident took place near the 9800-block of 182A Street on the evening of June 16. First responders from Surrey RCMP were called to a residence where they found Tori Dunn with life-threatening injuries. Despite their efforts to save her, she tragically succumbed to her injuries.
Suspect in Custody
Following a search of the area by additional police responders and the Integrated Police Dog Service, a suspect was located and taken into custody on an unrelated charge. The investigation is ongoing as IHIT continues to work with Surrey RCMP, the BC Coroners Service, and the Integrated Forensic Identification Service.
