Norfolk Police Detectives have arrested and charged Michael A. Lewis Jr., 27, for the second-degree murder of Bobby L. Hill, 32, in a fatal shooting incident on June 18, 2024. The shooting took place in the 3100 block of Kimball Terrace, where Hill was found with a gunshot wound and pronounced dead at the scene. Lewis was apprehended by Norfolk Police in Suffolk later that day and is currently held without bond at Norfolk City Jail. The motive behind the shooting remains undisclosed. NORFOLK, Va. Man Arrested for Second-Degree Murder Following Fatal Shooting
NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) –Detectives have arrested and charged a man following a shooting Tuesday morning that left another man dead.
On June 18, 2024, around 10:15 a.m., Officers were called to the 3100 block of Kimball Terrace for the report of a gunshot victim. When police arrived, they located a man, identified as Bobby L. Hill, 32, of Chesapeake, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Hill was pronounced deceased at the scene.
As a result of this investigation, Detectives have charged Michael A. Lewis Jr., 27, with second-degree murder, and use of a firearm.

Lewis was taken into custody by Norfolk Police in the City of Suffolk on June 18th, around 3:00 p.m.
He is currently being held in Norfolk City Jail without bond.
Detectives have not released a motive or any additional circumstances surrounding this shooting.
