Tragic Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of New York Man in Campton, New Hampshire

Upon arrival at the scene, Troopers were met with a harrowing sight – three injured motorcyclists, and three motorcycles lying on their sides. The initial investigation revealed that a sudden gust of wind had caused one of the motorcyclists to lose control, resulting in a devastating crash. In a bid to avoid colliding with the fallen rider, two other motorcyclists made split-second decisions to lay down their bikes, narrowly averting a more catastrophic outcome.

The aftermath of the crash was chaotic, with emergency responders rushing to provide aid to the injured bikers. The operator of the motorcycle that veered off the road was rushed to Concord Hospital with severe injuries, while a second motorcyclist was taken to Speare Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Tragically, the third motorcyclist, identified as 41-year-old Anthony Caton from Round Lake, New York, succumbed to his injuries despite efforts to save him. He was airlifted to Dartmouth Hospital, where he tragically passed away.
