A man has been taken into custody by the Burlington Police Department for allegedly firing shots at the Brittany Apartments on 706 Huffman Mill Road. The incident took place around 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday, prompting multiple calls to the authorities regarding gunfire in the parking lot.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers encountered Michael Bissette, the suspect involved in the shooting. An investigation revealed that a dispute between two individuals at the apartment complex escalated when Bissette, aged 22, verbally threatened the other person before discharging a firearm.
