A man has been charged in the fatal shooting of a boxer in Odenton Monday night, according to Anne Arundel County Police. Police responded around 9:45 p.m. to Meadowmist Way at Stehlik Drive where they found 27-year-old Isaiah Olugbemi on the ground, shot multiple times. Olugbemi was taken to shock trauma where he was pronounced dead. His death was later ruled a homicide. According to charging documents, detectives obtained video surveillance footage that showed a white male, later identified as Nicholas Giroux of Odenton, walking directly up to Olugbemi with a handgun before shooting him multiple times and fleeing the scene on foot. Giroux has been charged with first and second-degree murder.

The Tragic Shooting in Odenton
In a disturbing turn of events, a fatal shooting took place in Odenton on Monday night, resulting in the death of 27-year-old boxer, Isaiah Olugbemi. The incident occurred on Meadowmist Way at Stehlik Drive, where Olugbemi was found lying on the ground, having been shot multiple times. The suspect was later identified as Nicholas Giroux, a resident of Odenton. On June 18, Giroux was apprehended and during police interrogation, he confessed to the heinous crime.
