MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – The Montgomery Police Department has made significant progress in two separate incidents involving shots being fired into occupied dwellings or vehicles. Three suspects have been arrested in connection with these incidents, shedding light on the ongoing efforts to maintain public safety in the city.

Arrest of Ja’Kori Tucker and a 15-year-old Boy

Ja’Kori Tucker, 18, and an unnamed 15-year-old boy were apprehended by authorities on Friday in relation to an incident that occurred on February 2 in the 2000 block of Coliseum Boulevard. The minor was taken to the Montgomery County Youth Detention Facility, while Tucker was placed in the Montgomery County Detention Facility. As of Tuesday, Tucker remains in custody on a bail of $30,000.

Although court documents are not readily available, authorities have confirmed that the two suspects were involved in the shooting incident on Coliseum Boulevard.

Arrest of Sean Michaels Bailey

In a separate investigation, Sean Michaels Bailey, 40, was taken into custody on Thursday. Bailey has been identified as the suspect in a shooting incident that took place on May 15 in the 3000 block of McGehee Road. According to court filings, Bailey allegedly fired a single round into a woman’s vehicle while she was inside, although the motive behind the act remains unclear.

Following his arrest, Bailey was transported to the Montgomery County Detention Facility. He has since been released on a bail of $30,000.
