Increased Violence in the City

The recent spate of homicides in Youngstown has raised concerns about the level of violence in the city. Multiple “car meets” have been reported throughout the city, where vehicles and their drivers have been disregarding traffic laws and engaging in reckless behavior.

Youngstown police have urged the public to come forward with any information they may have regarding these incidents. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Ed Runyan by email at erunyan@vindy.com.
