A fatal rollover crash on May 31 has claimed the life of 25-year-old Kenneth Amey from Reno. Amey, the driver of the white 1998 Ford Explorer involved in the crash, lost control on US-395 southbound near Clear Acre Lane at 11:15 p.m. The car hit the center median, rotated, and overturned after departing the travel lanes. Amey was thrown from the vehicle and succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The Nevada State Police Patrol Northern Command West Multidisciplinary Investigation and Reconstruction Team (M.I.R.T.) is investigating the incident. The Clear Acre Lane off-ramp and one southbound lane on US-395 were closed for several hours.

The individual who tragically lost their life in a fatal rollover collision on the evening of May 31 has now been identified as 25-year-old Kenneth Amey from Reno.

Amey was the driver of the vehicle involved in the incident.
The devastating crash took place on the southbound lanes of US-395, close to Clear Acre Lane, at around 11:15 p.m.
Initial reports suggest that a white 1998 Ford Explorer, driven by Amey, was heading southbound on US-395 in the vicinity of Clear Acre Lane.
For reasons that are currently unknown, Amey’s vehicle veered out of the travel lane, collided with the central median, and subsequently spun out of control.
The car continued southbound on the travel lanes before veering off the road and tumbling down an embankment, resulting in it overturning.
Tragically, Amey was ejected from the vehicle and succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the collision.
The Nevada State Police Patrol Northern Command West Multidisciplinary Investigation and Reconstruction Team (M.I.R.T.) are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.

An individual has sadly lost their life following a rollover crash that occurred on the southbound lanes of US-395 in the vicinity of Clear Acre Lane.
At approximately 10:15 p.m. on May 31, Nevada State Police were alerted to the crash and arrived at the scene to find a single SUV that had been involved in the collision and subsequently rolled over.
Upon conducting a preliminary investigation, NSP determined that the SUV was the sole vehicle involved in the incident, with the driver being the only occupant of the car.
Tragically, the driver was pronounced deceased after being rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
Following the crash, the Clear Acre Lane off-ramp and one lane on the southbound side of US-395 were closed for several hours as authorities worked to clear the scene.
