A tragic incident occurred in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, as a 13-year-old student reportedly jumped from the 14th floor of a residential building, leading to her untimely death. CCTV cameras inside the society captured the heartbreaking event, with preliminary investigations suggesting that the girl took her own life. The victim, identified as Anjali, was a 7th-grade student at Advance Academy School and the daughter of Amol Ayamiyar. Despite her father walking her to the school gate in the morning, Anjali made a detour to a nearby apartment building, where she tragically ended her life by jumping off the terrace. Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A tragic incident unfolded in Indore on Tuesday, as a 13-year-old student tragically lost her life after jumping from the 14th floor of a residential building. The heart-wrenching event was captured by CCTV cameras within the society, shedding light on the devastating circumstances surrounding the young girl’s death.
Authorities conducting a preliminary investigation, along with the CCTV footage, have concluded that the girl, identified as Anjali, daughter of Amol Ayamiyar, took her own life by leaping from the 14th floor of Apollo DB city in the Nipania area of Lasudia police station in Indore. Anjali, a 7th-grade student at Advance Academy School, tragically succumbed to her injuries. The police have since registered a case of unnatural death.

TI Taresh Soni shared insights into the moments leading up to Anjali’s untimely death, revealing that she left her home in the morning with her father, who accompanied her to the gate before she was to catch the school bus. However, instead of heading to school, Anjali made her way to a nearby apartment building. She proceeded to the 14th floor via the lift, where she made the fateful decision to end her own life.
CCTV footage captured Anjali’s return to the township gate after her father’s departure, followed by her journey to another building where she accessed the lift to the top floor, ultimately leading to her tragic demise.

Anjali’s family, including her father, who serves as a manager at CCI Container Corporation, and her older brother, currently studying in the 11th grade at DPS School, are devastated by the loss. Originally from Pune, the family relocated to Indore from Vishakhapatnam in March 2024. Recently settling in the building and enrolling their children in school, the family is currently unable to provide statements or engage in dialogue regarding the tragic events.
