It is with heavy hearts that we report the passing of A white supremacist who took the lives of 9 Black church members during a Bible study at Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, SC in 2015. The tragic event shook the Charleston community to its core and left a lasting impact on all those affected.
The individual, whose name we have chosen not to mention out of respect for the victims and their families, was responsible for one of the deadliest attacks on a place of worship in recent history. Their hateful actions on that fateful day will never be forgotten, and the scars left behind continue to be felt by many.
