According to the investigation conducted by the Inayawan Police Station, Balansag was walking home when Alfuro suddenly appeared and shot him with a gun of unknown caliber. The victim sustained a gunshot wound on the left side of his neck.
Despite his injuries, Balansag managed to run to his house and seek help from his parents. Authorities are looking into the victim’s alleged involvement in illegal drug activities as a possible motive for the attack.

Law enforcement officials are currently conducting a hot pursuit operation to apprehend Alfuro and bring him to justice for the shooting incident.
