The Horrific Incident in Mund Jamrao Village, Sanghar District

In a disturbing turn of events, a landlord in Mund Jamrao village, located in Sanghar district, brutally mutilated a helpless camel by chopping off its right leg as punishment for foraging into his field for fodder. The incident, which took place on Friday, shocked the entire community and sparked outrage across social media platforms.

Police Action and Arrest of Suspects

Sanghar police swiftly took notice of the incident and contacted the owner of the camel, Soomar Behan, who was a poor peasant. Despite Behan’s reluctance to identify the culprit and press charges, police took action by lodging an FIR against six unknown persons under Sections 429 and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code.

The suspects, identified as Rustam Shar, Abid Shar, Jaffar Jatt, Abdul Shakoor Shar, Gul Baig Lashari, and Darya Khan Shar, were apprehended from Rantoo Bridge near Sanghar after allegedly resisting arrest and attacking the police officers.

Judicial Proceedings and Remand of Suspects

The suspects were presented before a magistrate in Shahdadpur, where police requested a 14-day remand for further investigation to locate the weapon used in the heinous act. However, the magistrate granted a four-day remand for the suspects, citing the need for additional evidence.
