Just three days after a horrifying incident in Telangana’s Peddapalli district, where a man raped and killed a six-year-old girl, new details have emerged about the tragic event. A video has surfaced on social media, showing the accused carrying the young girl into a rice mill.

Recent reports indicate that the suspect, identified as 35-year-old Balaram from Madhya Pradesh, has been apprehended and charged under stringent sections of the POCSO Act.
Authorities revealed that the disturbing incident unfolded in the early hours of Thursday at a camp located within the rice mill compound in Sultanabad.
According to the police statement, Balaram took advantage of the minor girl, who was sleeping next to her mother at the camp within the rice mill compound. The man proceeded to rape her, and when the girl began to cry out, Balaram silenced her by strangling her to death.
Local residents alerted the police, leading to the swift arrest of the perpetrator.
Charges have been filed against Balaram for rape and murder, in addition to other offences under the relevant sections of the POCSO Act.
Following the arrival of law enforcement at the scene, the victim’s remains were transported to a government hospital for a postmortem examination.
