Two drivers tragically lost their lives in separate crashes within 12 hours of each other in Wabash County, Indiana. Tragic Fatalities in Wabash County
Two devastating accidents occurred within a short span of 12 hours in Wabash County, resulting in the loss of two lives. The first incident took place near 8310 S 300 W in Wabash during the early hours of the morning.
First Fatal Crash
Authorities were alerted to a single-vehicle crash where a car had veered off the side of CR 300 W and collided head-on with a tree. Tragically, the driver, identified as 51-year-old Marcus Beher from Huntington, was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances leading to the crash are currently under investigation, as Beher was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
Second Fatal Crash
Later in the day, another fatal crash occurred in North Manchester, claiming the life of a 37-year-old woman from Wabash. According to reports, a truck turning from SR 13 onto CR 1100 North caused a slowdown in traffic, resulting in a 19-year-old driver rear-ending another car. This chain reaction led to a collision involving six vehicles, with the driver of the initially struck car, Erica Mabery, sustaining fatal injuries and later passing away in the hospital. Fortunately, no other individuals involved in the accident suffered serious harm.

Law enforcement officials are actively investigating both incidents to determine the factors that contributed to these tragic events. The community is left grieving over the loss of two lives in such a short period, highlighting the importance of road safety and vigilance while driving.
