Arrest Made in Threat Against Salman Khan

A 25-year-old BSc graduate from Rajasthan has been arrested for allegedly planning to eliminate Khan in a YouTube video. The accused, who goes by the name Banwarilal Laturlal Gujjar, posted a video on his channel ‘Are Chhodo Yaar’ in which he claimed that five other individuals, including the Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar, were involved in the plot.
Police Action
The police became aware of the video when a policeman came across it on Thursday evening. A case was immediately registered at the south cyber police station. The video, which is 1.25 minutes long, features an unknown person making threatening statements against Salman Khan. The individual mentions several names and outlines a plan to harm the actor.
Investigation and Arrest
Following the registration of the case, the police took swift action to track down the suspect. They registered a case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act. With the help of YouTube nodal officers, they were able to trace the suspect to a location in Bundi district, Rajasthan.
A team led by police inspector Arun Thorat apprehended Banwarilal Laturlal Gujjar from a hostel in Bundi. Gujjar, a well-educated individual with a BSc and Bachelor of Education degrees, was taken into custody without incident. He was then brought to Mumbai for further questioning.

Gujjar was produced before a holiday court on Sunday afternoon, where the police sought his custody for further investigation. The court granted their request and remanded Gujjar in police custody until June 18.
