As the suspect fled southbound on South Defiance Street, he displayed reckless behavior by maneuvering through oncoming traffic at a dangerously high rate of speed. The pursuit finally came to a halt when the suspect stopped at a business location in the 1300 block of South Defiance Street and attempted to flee on foot.
Arrest and Charges
With the assistance of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office and Wauseon Police Department, the suspect, identified as Tayler James, 27, was apprehended. Following an investigation and questioning, James was charged with failure to comply with the order or signal of an officer, a felony of the third degree, as well as violations of speeding and reckless operation.
