Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of 23-Year-Old Man in Mesa, Arizona
Tragedy struck in Mesa, Arizona, on Friday night as a 23-year-old man lost his life in a devastating motorcycle crash. The incident occurred near the intersection of Dobson Road and Southern Avenue, where Mesa police were called just after 9:45 p.m. to respond to the serious crash.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered that a car and a motorcycle had been involved in the collision. The motorcycle rider, identified as Alex Calderon, was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Calderon tragically succumbed to his injuries and passed away at the hospital.

According to police reports, it is believed that Calderon was travelling west on Southern Avenue at a high rate of speed when the crash occurred. The car involved in the collision was waiting at a traffic light and had started to make a left turn when the motorcycle collided with it.
