Bengaluru, June 14: A heartbreaking incident has rocked the city of Bengaluru in Karnataka, where a mother has been accused of killing her three-year-old autistic daughter. The tragic incident took place in the quiet neighbourhood of Subramanyapura in Banashankari, south Bengaluru, sending shockwaves through the community.

The victim, a young girl named Prithika, was allegedly strangled to death by her own mother, identified as Ramya. According to reports from the Times of India, the horrific incident occurred on Thursday afternoon, June 13, when Ramya took the life of her innocent daughter. The police investigation unveiled that the accused used a dupatta to choke the life out of Prithika in their home.

After committing the heinous act, Ramya contacted her brother-in-law and informed him about the tragic turn of events. Her brother-in-law, in turn, advised her to rush Prithika to a nearby hospital. However, despite their efforts, the doctors at the hospital declared the little girl brought dead upon arrival.

Upon receiving the alert from the hospital staff, the authorities swiftly moved in and apprehended Ramya. Meanwhile, her brother-in-law arrived at the hospital and confronted her about the unimaginable crime she had committed.
