A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting death of a 40-year-old man at a Pulaski gas station in May. Brandon Lee Mattox was arrested in Columbus, Ohio and is facing a second-degree murder charge. On May 24, officers responded to Speedway at 640 E. Main Street where they found Howard Laron Love with a single gunshot wound. Love later died from his injuries. Mattox is currently being held at the Fairfield County Jail in Ohio. Brandon Lee Mattox was arrested in Columbus, Ohio and is facing a second-degree murder charge in relation to the incident that occurred at Speedway on 640 E. Main Street back in May.
On the fateful day of May 24, officers were dispatched to the Speedway in Pulaski after receiving reports of a shooting. The victim, 40-year-old Howard Laron Love, was found in the parking lot with a single gunshot wound. He was rushed to LewisGale Pulaski Hospital in critical condition but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
Mattox, the alleged perpetrator, is currently being held at the Fairfield County Jail in Ohio awaiting further legal proceedings.
