In a tragic incident that has shocked the residents of Nagpur, a 16-year-old boy named Pulkit Shahdadpuri lost his life after falling into an open pump chamber at Ambazari dam. The incident took place on Tuesday, June 11, following Pulkit’s birthday celebrations with his family.

Details of the Incident

According to reports, Pulkit had celebrated his birthday by cutting a cake with his family before sneaking out of his house around 3 am to visit a friend. The two friends walked around Jaripatka for 15-20 minutes before deciding to go to Shankar Nagar Square for some poha. However, due to the stall being closed, they ended up at Ambazari lake.

While at the lake, Pulkit and his friend became engrossed in playing PUBG, a popular battle royale game. After finishing a game, they planned to head back to the poha stall, with Pulkit still focused on the game. When Pulkit’s friend heard a loud splash and turned back, he was unable to locate Pulkit in the deep pit. He quickly informed a nearby security guard, who then alerted the police.
